Performat Automotive Engineering is an Ayrshire based mechanical and automotive engineering company. They took a big step in 2022 to expand their modest premises from Kilmarnock to Ayr taking on a much larger unit, and expanding their already successful business, continuing to provide top quality customer service. With this came a small refinement of their logo and an updated strategy for their branding and marketing. I very much enjoy working with this ambitious client, who has huge plans for the direction of this business, so I jumped at the chance to get involved and offer support. Watch their space, as there will be plenty of interesting things to come.
Brief
The Performat existing logo was a little chunky, and not as clean, so we gave it a little spruce up, making the logos both cleaner, and simpler. It was a great twist on the owners name - Matt - and the performance that they provide, so just needed updating to reflect the new direction. Social media and branding strategies will continue to be developed until the brand is strong and easily identifiable amongst a large and broad variety of similar services across the country.
WEBSITE DESIGN
Designing Performat’s website was an absolute delight. Creating a public image for a business in the autotrade that represents the quality of workmanship, skills, knowledge and pride taken in providing the best service to their customers was a fun challenge. I like to think we pulled off the best design for their website and really enjoyed co-ordinating and directing the photoshoots, and imagery produced as well.
